Current method – digging and lining sumps

New EFS Sump System

The current system damages the environment more than protecting it. The sumps are cleaned with shovels which puncture the lining and drilling fluids then enter the soil. At the end of every single borehole the plastic liners are disposed off, this is one of the biggest threats in the world since plastic does not undergo bacterial decomposition. We are therefore generating a long term threat to the environment with the current insufficient system.

MUD MIXER

  •  Pro mix is the quickest and most efficient way for mixing drilling chemicals
  •  Ensure that there is no unmixed chemicals settling to the bottom of the sump
  •  Ensure that every mix is the same as the previous
  •  Cots effective and safes on chemicals
  •  Clean one man operation
  •  Full patent on this product

    MIXING MUD STEPS:
  •  Fill flow bin to 350 litre mark with clean water
  •  Ensure drain valve on flow bin is open
  •  Start centrifugal pump, ensure there is a suction sound coming from venture
  •  Add chemical into funnel as per specifications
  •  Continue to mix whilst filling flow bin with water up to the 1000 litre mark
  •  Measure viscosity of mud mixture to check if correct
  •  Pump mud into suction sump by opening the supply valve

EFS controlled chemical dispenser

Maximum control on the usage of chemicals will be enforced by introducing chemicals in measurable amounts – at least 30% less chemicals will be pumped into boreholes

Chemicals are mixed in a controlled manner – 1000 LTR water plus 0.5 to 1.5kg Betonite Therefore once the perfect formula to suit the formation has been selected then each mud mixture will be identical for the duration of the contract.

One man operation to mix chemicals and introduce drilling mud into water circulation system.
